Phoenix currently operates and maintains an integrated management system, certified to ISO 9001:2008 (QUALITY), AS/NZS 4801:2001 (SAFETY) and ISO 14001:2004 (ENVIRONMENT) standards which is externally audited on an annual basis and recertified every three years.
NATA is the authority that provides independent assurance of technical competence through a proven network of best practice industry experts for customers who require confidence in the delivery of their products and services. NATA provides assessment, accreditation and training services to laboratories and technical facilities throughout Australia and internationally. Phoenix Defence & Industrial are an accredited NATA laboratory and comply with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
Phoenix were audited by CSIRO verification services and have been successfully accredited with PCCP certification for subclasses 3 & 4 (Site Application - Atmospheric & Immersion) as well as 5A & 5B (Management of Hazardous Coatings). PCCP's objective is to accredit painting contractors who demonstrate compliance with certain defined minimum performance standards - quality systems, satisfied customers, skilled and experienced personnel etc.
Trainthepainter has been independently assessed against the contents of the NACE/SSPC Standard Practice for Industrial Coating and Lining Application Specialist Qualifications Certifications (SSPC-ASC-1/NACE No.13), and has been found to meet the requirements of that standard.
Lloyd's Register is a notified body who can approve permanent joining procedures and personnel in accordance with the requirements of various standards. Phoenix procedures and personnel have been found to comply with EN/ISO 15614 & NAVSEA S0974 standards and as such have been endorsed by Lloyd's Register.

Phoenix is accredited for the application of ENECON METALCLAD CeramAlloy CL+AC in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. METALCLAD CeramAlloy CL+AC is a two component, 100% solids, liquid polymer composite used for repairing, resurfacing and coating both damaged and new components to provide outstanding fluid flow erosion and corrosion resistance. METALCLAD CeramAlloy CL+AC is qualified for AFFF Stations and high-traffic interior passageways on U.S. & Australian Navy vessels as detailed in MIL-PRF-32171.
